On Wednesday evening, Chris Klieman and the Kansas State Wildcats shored up their offensive line through the transfer portal with the addition of Wagner offensive lineman Brandon Sneh.
Sneh, a 6-foot-7, 320-pound lineman from Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, spent the previous season at Wagner, where he developed into a star at the FCS level.
In his sophomore season at Wagner, Sneh didn’t allow a single sack from his tackle spot. Coming out of Neumann Goretti High School in the Class of 2022, Sneh was listed as an unranked prospect by the 247Sports index. After one year with Fayetteville State and one season with Wagner, the Philidelphia native developed into a three-star prospect and the nation’s 738th-ranked player and the 65th-ranked player at his position.
The addition goes a long way for Klieman’s group as the team looks to replace both of their starting tackles from 2024. Veteran tackle Carver Willis departed the program for Washington earlier in the transfer portal cycle, while FCS transfer from the previous season, Easton Kilty, headed for the NFL Draft.
With the commitment, Kansas State has now added a total of 11 prospects in the transfer portal, giving them the 13th-best class in the Big 12 Conference.
The transfer portal officially opened on Monday, December 9, 2024, and will remain open until Saturday, December 28, with an exception for players on teams who play bowl games after the window closes. According to NCAA data, 2,273 FBS football players entered the transfer portal in 2023-24 school year, with 1,558 (68.5%) undergraduates and 715 (31.5%) graduate transfers. Of the entrants, 57% reported that they enrolled in another school, 8% withdrew their names from the portal, and 35% are still active, transferred to a non-NCAA school, or left their sport.
