Kansas vs. Kansas State Basketball Predictions

Well, both of these teams are coming off a loss and would love to get a win over their in-state rival and try to get the season back on track. But it’s hard to see how that happens for the Wildcats who don’t do anything well.

Kansas State ranks at or near the bottom of the Big 12 in almost every major statistical category offensively, including scoring, field goal percentage, and rebounding, where they’re dead last in the Big 12.

Meantime, the Jayhawks have certainly had their issues as they try to get back to being a National Championship contender, but there are holes on this team, by KU standards. They aren’t elite at anything, and Hunter Dickinson has not continued to progress as a player, in fact he’s arguably regressed.

Even though KJ Adams will miss the game due to injury, Kansas will win this game on the boards, where they’re tops in the Big 12 rebounds per game in Big 12 play, while K-State is second-to-last, and expect lots of turnovers to fast-break buckets for Kansas, who is +1.80 turnovers per game in Big 12 play, while Kansas State is -3, which is tied for third-worst in the Big 12 Conference.

Kansas 78, K-State 60
