Kansas State vs. Baylor Basketball Predictions

Jerome Tang and company head to Waco in the midst of a five-game losing streak after upsetting Cincinnati in the regular season opener. The team has lost eight of the last nine games to No. 12 Kansas, Texas Tech, No. 7 Houston, Oklahoma State, TCU, Wichita State, Drake, and No. 20 St. John’s. The Wildcats are led by senior forward David N’Guessan, who is averaging 12.6 points and 7.2 rebounds per game on 64.7% shooting from the field.

As for Baylor, the team hosts the Wildcats after losing back-to-back games against Arizona and TCU. Since entering the season as a Preseason Top 25 team, Baylor has dropped out of the AP Poll and is moving closer toward the bubble in NCAA Tournament projections. Still, the team has impressive athletes on their roster, namely Miami transfer Norchad Omier, who leads the squad with 15.8 points and 9.9 rebounds per game.

The biggest statistical difference in the game comes when dealing with Baylor’s offense and Kansas State’s defense. The Wildcats check in as the league’s 13th-scoring defense, surrendering 73.2 points per game, while the Bears are currently fourth in scoring offense with 80.8 points per game.
