The 2025 college football season is months away, but we’re already getting a chance to look ahead and start placing bets on what things are going to look like.

FanDuel has gotten way out ahead of the other sportsbooks and has already provided odds for the national championship winner, and even the conference title winners, including the Big 12.

Now, they’ve made a list of the players most likely to win college football’s most prestigious award: the Heisman Trophy. Will it return to the Big 12 for a second straight year, or will one of the other conferences grab it this time around.

Let’s take a look at the players with top-10 odds, courtesy of FanDuel:

2025 Heisman Trophy Odds (Top 10)

  1. Garrett Nussmeier (+800)
  2. Arch Manning (+900)
  3. Cade Klubnik (+1000)
  4. Jeremiah Smith (+1200)
  5. Drew Allar (+1400)
  6. Nico Iamaleava (+1400)
  7. Dante Moore (+1800)
  8. LaNorris Sellers (+1800)
  9. Julian Sayin (+1800)
  10. Carson Beck (+2000)
  11. DJ Lagway (+2000)

In case you’re not aware, there’s not a single Big 12 name listed above.

In fact, the first Big 12 name is tied for the 14th-best odds, with Arizona State quarterback Sam Leavitt at +3300 (33/1).

Of the 75 players getting odds for the Heisman Trophy, 16 of them will play in the Big 12 in 2025. Here’s a look at those names and odds.

  • Sam Leavitt (+3300)
  • Jalon Daniels (+4000)
  • Sawyer Robertson (+6000)
  • Kaidon Salter (+7500)
  • Avery Johnson (+7500)
  • Devon Dampier (+8000)
  • Jake Retzlaff (+12000)
  • Noah Fifita (+12000)
  • Rocco Becht (+15000)
  • Connor Weigman (+18000)
  • Behren Morton (+20000)
  • Tayven Jackson (+20000)
  • Dylan Edwards (+25000)
  • Brendan Sorsby (+25000)
  • Hauss Hejny (+30000)

Kansas State is the only Big 12 team with multiple players on the list, as Avery Johnson and Dylan Edwards are both garnering plenty of attention ahead of 2025. Meanwhile, West Virginia is the only Big 12 team without a player on the list, as expected starting quarterback Nicco Marchiol will have to beat out newcomer Jaylen Henderson.
