With the Big 12 Football schedule expected to be released on Tuesday, a few games have begun to leak out ahead of the official announcement.

The league is planning to host a live schedule release event on Tuesday, February 3rd, where each team’s schedule will be posted for the upcoming college football season.

On Monday, ActionNetwork’s Brett McMurphy took to X to announce a few games Big 12 fans should look forward to in 2025.

“Big 12 2025 schedule features defending champ Arizona State at Baylor on Sept. 20, Oklahoma State at Texas Tech on Oct. 25, and West Virginia/Rich Rodriguez at UCF/Scott Frost on Oct. 18,” McMurphy wrote. “Big 12’s schedule will be released Tuesday, sources said.”

The three highly-anticipated matchups made rounds on social media, with fans of each team getting their first taste of the schedule for the 2025 season.

Perhaps the biggest of the three matchups, Arizona State at Baylor, has a shot to kick off Big 12 play in a matchup with both teams in the Preseason AP Top 25. In the 2024 season, conference play kicked off the weekend of September 19th and 20th.

All three games are scheduled to be played on Saturdays, which is one of the biggest questions surrounding the schedule release. Big 12 Commissioner Brett Yormark has commented in the past on the idea of the league growing its notoriety by playing in games on Friday nights, which begs the question: which Big 12 teams will face off on Friday in 2025?

That question will be answered on Tuesday at 10:00 a.m. central on ESPNU, FS2, and TruTV.
