Tournament time is starting to creep up for college basketball, and the Big 12 appears to be hitting its stride right on time.

In the latest bracketology update from Joe Lunardi, the conference is seeing several teams surge up the seeding ranks and onto the correct side of the bubble.

Take a look at the latest update from Lunardi, which now has nine teams in the tournament after having just seven at one point last week.

Texas Tech has been one of the hottest teams in the country as of late, and after their 73-59 win over Baylor last night, they’ve moved up to a three-seed in the latest projection.

In addition to the Red Raiders’ recent climb, the Big 12 also has a couple of teams falling on the right side of the bubble, as both UCF and BYU are among the last four teams in the tournament.

However, Arizona State has called off the bubble completely after giving up a 16-point lead against Kansas State last night in a 71-70 loss to the Wildcats, which has suddenly won four straight.

Iowa State has fallen to a three-seed amid their current losing streak but hopes to regain some composure with a home tilt against TCU on Saturday.

Meanwhile, Arizona is up to a No. 4 seed after their recent run of success and gives the Big 12 four of the top 16 overall seeds in Big Dance.
