During Oklahoma basketball’s game vs. Mississippi State, OU’s Duke Miles went diving for a loose ball and appeared to crack or lose multiple teeth in the process.

The play came at the 7:00 minute mark of the second half with the Sooners leading the Bulldogs 73-64 when the ball went back into Mississippi State’s side of the court. That’s when Miles saw an opportunity that ended ugly.

After starting his career at Troy and playing three seasons there, Miles played last year at High Point before transferring to Oklahoma for the 2024-25 season. He’s been a bright spot for Oklahoma, averaging over 10 points per game, along with 2.5 rebounds and 2.2 assists per game, while shooting over 50% from the field.

Oklahoma would go on to win the game 93-87 and snap a five-game losing streak in the process.
