While the Baylor Bears have been listed comfortably in the NCAA Tournament in recent weeks, their stock is starting to dip after some recent struggles.

On Sunday, ESPN’s Joe Lunardi dropped the Bears to the last four byes section of the bubble as the field’s 61st-ranked team.

In 2024-25, Baylor has been significantly bitten by the injury bug. Multiple players have missed games this season for Scott Drew’s squad, including Langston Love, VJ Edgecombe, Jeremy Roach, Jayden Nunn, Josh Ojianwuna, and more.

Due to this, they’ve really struggled in league play with some uncharacteristic losses. In their last 10 games, the group is just 4-6 with losses to BYU, No. 13 Texas Tech, No. 6 Houston, No. 19 Arizona, Colorado (winless in league play at the time), and Cincinnati.

Baylor is joined by two other Big 12 teams on the bubble, including Cincinnati (No. 75) and TCU (No. 79).

With two games remaining, Scott Drew‘s group cannot afford many more losses as the group continues to nose-dive down each bracketology update. They take on two teams with post-season plans in their final two outings against No. 4 Houston and TCU.
