The Texas A&M Aggies baseball team has lost four games in a row, and their last two games against Big 12 teams Arizona and Oklahoma State. And with the Aggies in the No. 1 spot in the country, fans have been unruly in recent days on social media.

That resulted in Texas A&M pitcher Shane Sdao posting a message on social media calling out fans for “completely unacceptable and out of line” behavior.

The message came early on Sunday morning. Here’s the full note: “Some of the things that I am seeing on X and Instagram are just absolutely disgusting and ridiculous. We all understand that we are not playing to the best of our abilities but the level of hate and disrespect being thrown around is completely unacceptable and out of line. At the end of the day we are all human and no one is more frustrated than we are. We are working everyday to be better and this is not helping at all. No one has any idea what any of us are going through. This doesn’t just go for the baseball team it goes for every other sport as well. Let’s go back to being Aggie fans instead of acting like opposing team fans. Let’s do better Gig ‘Em.”

The Aggies have struggled on offense, only scoring 7 total runs over its last 4 losses to Cal Poly, Texas State, Arizona and Oklahoma State.

On Saturday, Oklahoma State beat Texas A&M 4-0. Starting pitcher Harrison Bodendorf pitched lights out, meanwhile, Drew Blake and Sean Youngerman shut the door on the Aggies coming out of the bullpen.

The Cowboys were also able to get just enough offense in to back up their outstanding pitching between Garrett Shull’s home run and Jayson Jones’ RBI triple in the fourth inning.

Texas A&M began the season as one of the favorites to win the College World Series in 2025. Texas A&M will face Rice on Saturday night in Houston as it looks to snap its losing streak.
