The TCU Horned Frogs will be the No. 1 seed for the first time since they joined the Big 12 Conference when the league’s tournament begins on Wednesday in Kansas City.
All games will be at T-Mobile Arena in Kansas City. First-round games are set for Wednesday, with second-round games on Thursday and quarterfinals on Friday. All three days feature quadruple headers.
TCU, along with Baylor, Oklahoma State and West Virginia received double byes into the quarterfinals and won’t play until Friday.
Kansas State, Utah, Iowa State and Arizona received single byes to the second round and won’t play until Thursday.
The winner of the tournament receives the league’s automatic bid into the NCAA Tournament. Texas won the tournament title last year.
