The Big 12 Tournament is getting started on Tuesday morning, and heading into the action, eight teams can feel pretty safe about their chances of getting into March Madness.

However, we could see nine teams get in if things in Kansas City play out correctly.

According to Joe Lunardi’s latest update, there are two Big 12 teams on the bubble ahead of the Big 12 Tournament–one projecting to get in and the other narrowly missing the field.

The Baylor Bears are among the “Last Four Byes” and should be in the tournament unless we see a rash of bid stealers after conference tournaments.

Baylor will face the winner of Arizona State and Kansas State on Wednesday.

Meanwhile, Cincinnati finds itself just outside of the “Next Four Out,” as the 10th overall team outside the tournament field.

The Bearcats open up the tournament against Oklahoma State on Tuesday morning.
