West Virginia vs. Colorado Predictions

West Virginia will come into this game with fresh legs after sitting out the first round of the tournament as the No. 8 seed. The Mountaineers finished off their regular season with a couple of wins over UCF and Utah, and yesterday, got a chance to see Colorado in action.

These two teams played back on January 12, as Javon Small led the Mountaineers with 26 points in a 78-70 road win. Now, two months later, the two will meet again—one headed to the NCAA Tournament and the other clinging to the hope of playing another game.

Colorado’s back-to-back wins over TCU in the last several days will have the Buffs playing with more confidence than we’ve seen from them late in the year, but West Virginia is just too much for CU to pull off another upset, especially with them being the better-rested team.

West Virginia 67, Colorado 60
