On Friday, Mike Gundy and the Oklahoma State Cowboys added a new name to the Class of 2026 with the commitment of three-star EDGE Landon Bland.

Bland, a 6-foot-4 pass rusher from Carthage, Missouri, picked the Cowboys over offers from 11 different programs, including Kansas, Kansas State, Michigan, Illinois, Missouri, and more.

Coming out of Carthage High School in the Class of 2026, Bland is listed as a three-star prospect by the 247Sports Index and the nation’s 750th-ranked player. He also checks in as the 57th-ranked player at his position and the sixth-ranked player in the state of Missouri.

Bland plays both defensive end and tight end for Carthage High and has shown some ability on both sides of the ball, which caught the eye of Gundy and the Cowboys. He is fresh off of a visit to Oklahoma State, which prompted him to pick up the OSU hat on his Instagram live commitment over finalists Kansas State and Iowa State.

With his commitment, Bland becomes Oklahoma State’s third addition to the Class of 2026 alongside three-star EDGE Jaylen Stewart and in-state OT Aiden Martin.
