In a shocking turn of events, the TCU women’s basketball program is set to add a high-profile transfer for the third straight offseason—and this might be the biggest win yet.
Olivia Miles, the consensus projected No. 2 pick in the 2025 WNBA Draft behind UConn’s Paige Bueckers, was expected to leave Notre Dame and go pro. However, she shocked the basketball world last month when she decided to forgo the draft and enter the transfer portal.
Now, according to multiple reports, Miles will leave South Bend and head to Fort Worth, where she’ll star for the Horned Frogs in 2025.
Miles, 22, is coming off an excellent senior year in which she averaged 15.4 points and 5.6 rebounds per game for the Fighting Irish, helping lead them to a 28-6 record and a No. 3 seed in the NCAA Tournament.
However, Miles and the Irish were no match for Hailey Van Lith and the Horned Frogs, as TCU eliminated Notre Dame with a 71-62 victory in the Sweet 16.
Now, Miles will take over as the Horned Frogs’ feature player with Van Lith out of eligibility, and once again, it appears that Mark Campbell has a contender in Fort Worth.
