As Notre Dame and Penn State get set to kick off in the College Football Playoff semifinals on Thursday night, there’s a new wrinkle that will be of interest to fans, and casual sports bettors: The flu bug as reportedly hit the Notre Dame locker room this week.

The saving grace is that those who have it the worst are reportedly back up players and special teams players, according to On3‘s Tyler Horka.

So far, the spread has not moved as of the early afternoon on Thursday, with Notre Dame holding as a 1.5-point favorite in the game. The over/under has moved up slightly from 44.5 to 45.5 total points.
