It didn’t take long for Las Vegas to shut down any rumors after reports surfaced that Deion Sanders had interest in the Raiders’ job opening.

However, things are a bit more interesting now as Sanders’ former franchise, the Dallas Cowboys, now has a vacancy to fill.

It was expected that Mike McCarthy would return in 2025, but after he and the Cowboys couldn’t come to an agreement on a new contract, the two have parted ways.

For those who question whether or not Sanders will be a candidate, it’s important to remember that Sanders and Cowboys’ owner Jerry Jones have had an excellent relationship for 30+ years, which is one of the biggest reasons that Bovada has Sanders as the betting favorite to land the job.

Sanders’ 2024 season serves as quite the job interview, as his 9-4 campaign with Colorado just two seasons into his tenure in Boulder is as impressive a turnaround as there was in college football.

Will he leave the program to take over the most valuable team in American sports?

Bovada is giving EVEN odds on that bet, followed by Joe Brady (+200), Ben Johnson (+325) Bobby Slowik (+1000), Matt Nagy (+1800), and Tony Romo (+2800).
