The 2024 college football season is in the rearview mirror, which means the time to start looking ahead to 2025 is upon us.

FanDuel recently released odds for the upcoming 2025 season, including the national championship odds, and now conference championship odds.

After an unforgettable Big 12 race in 2024, which was virtually impossible to predict this time last year, its interesting to see who the folks in Vegas think has the best shot at a title in 2025.

Let’s take a look at the odds, courtesy of FanDuel:

2025 Big 12 Championship Odds

TeamOdds
Kansas State+550 (11/2)
Arizona State+550 (11/2)
BYU+700 (7/1)
Baylor+700 (7/1)
Kansas+750 (15/2)
Texas Tech+950 (19/2)
Iowa State+1000 (10/1)
TCU+1600 (16/1)
Colorado+1600 (16/1)
Utah+1900 (19/1)
Oklahoma State+3000 (30/1)
West Virginia+3000 (30/1)
Cincinnati+3500 (35/1)
UCF+3500 (35/1)
Houston+5000 (50/1)
Arizona+6500 (65/1)

We have a co-favorite for the second season in a row, as Kansas State and Arizona State are listed as +550 (11/2) odds of winning the league next season. In 2024, it was Kansas State and Utah who were favored atop the list, with Arizona State coming in at the bottom of the list—as long as +10000 in some sportsbooks.

BYU and Baylor are tied for the third-best odds to win the Big 12, coming in at +700 (7/1) after finishing the year at 11-2 and 8-5, respectively.

Kansas was a top-five Big 12 team in last year’s odds, but quickly fell from that list after dropping their first five games against FBS opponents. However, they played much better down the stretch and will return Jalon Daniels for another season. That, in the eyes of the oddsmakers, is enough to give them the fifth-best odds to win the league, at +750 (15/2).

From a value perspective, the next two teams on the board are probably where a bettor would want to land. Texas Tech (+950) has the most talented roster in the league after their massive transfer portal haul and has been trending in the right direction under Joey McGuire.

Then, at +1000 (10/1), there’s the Iowa State Cyclones, who just wrapped an 11-3 season and finished as the league’s runner-up. Matt Campbell’s group might just be the best value on the board with just the seventh-best odds.
