Deion Sanders and the Colorado Buffaloes just wrapped a 9-4 season in 2024 and were one of the top stories in college football all season long.
From Travis Hunter’s Heisman trophy campaign to Shedeur Sanders’ draft stock, the Buffaloes were the talk of the town, but now those superstars are headed to the NFL and Coach Prime will have to rebuild with a new stock of talent.
Deion’s sons have played their last game for the Buffs, so Sanders is soaking in all of the time that he can with them before they head off to the NFL. This weekend, Deion and Shedeur made their way down to New Orleans for Sunday’s Super Bowl, but there’s more to celebrate than just that.
Friday also happens to be Shedeur’s 23rd birthday, and his father wished him well with a post on social media to his “favorite son.”
This is a running joke for the Sanders’ family, as Deion has previously done a “Power Rankings” of his five children and re-ranked them again—including Travis Hunter—this time last year.
However, the post certainly has social media popping off, and the comments are hilarious.
