The Big 12 basketball tournaments are just around the corner in Kansas City, with the women’s tournament starting on Wednesday, March 5, and being played through March 9/10. Meanwhile, the men’s tournament will start on Tuesday, March 11, and be played through March 15.
The format looks a bit different this season, but there’s something else new in store for the tournament too, as the league announced on Friday, via press release.
Via Big 12 Conference — Today, the Big 12 Conference unveiled its first-ever “XII Court”, an XII-branded court on which the 2025 Phillips 66 Big 12 Men’s and Women’s Basketball Championships will be played on.
Additionally, the Big 12 Conference has partnered with global sportswear brand and retailer UNDEFEATED on the XII Court design. The court’s apron features the brand’s iconic 5-strike logo.
The XII Court will make its official debut as the 2025 Phillips 66 Big 12 Women’s Basketball Championship tips off Wednesday, March 5 at the T-Mobile Center in Kansas City. The Women’s Championship will take place from March 5 – March 9/10, while the Men’s Basketball Championship will be played March 11 – 15. Additional enhancements for the 2025 Men’s and Women’s Basketball Championships will be announced Tuesday, March 4.
