In the third matchup of the Big 12 Tournament, Arizona State takes on Kansas State with an extremely short bench.

Two players who have been dealing with injuries in recent weeks, Adam Miller and Jayden Quaintance, have received their designations for Tuesday night’s game vs. Kansas State.

To provide the bad news first, star freshman Jayden Quaintance is out for the game with a knee injury, while Adam Miller is expected to be available with a hip injury.

The news was first reported by CBS Sports’ Jon Rothstein, who said, “Arizona State’s Adam Miller will be available for tonight’s Big 12 Tournament game against Kansas State, per a school spokesman.”

Miller, a 6-foot-3 senior from Peoria, Illinois, has been a consistent presence for the group when on the court. He’s averaging 9.8 points, 2.3 rebounds, and 1.9 assists per game this season but has not seen the court since March 4th.

Quaintance has been one of the best freshmen in the Big 12 Conference this season, averaging 9.4 points and 7.9 rebounds per game. In Arizona State’s last matchup against K-State, a 66-54 win, the Ohio native recorded a game-high 18 points, seven rebounds, and two assists.

Tuesday’s game between the Wildcats and Sun Devils tips off at 6:00 p.m. central on ESPN+.
