Selection Sunday is just two days away and the latest Bracketology from Joe Lunardi has Baylor moving up as the Bears await their tournament destination after getting bounced in the Big 12 Tournament on Thursday night.

Baylor’s rise comes after a hard-fought loss against Texas Tech that ended in a 76-74 final on Thursday. As a result, the Bears are off the bubble and up to a No. 9 seed. In today’s projection, the Bears would face No. 8 seed Creighton, with the winner likely moving on to face No. 1 seed Florida in the Round of 32.

According to Lunardi, Baylor would be in the West Regional and would go to Raleigh, North Carolina for their first two round games, and if they advance to the Sweet 16, would play in San Francisco, California for the Regional semifinals and finals.
