Oklahoma State’s 2024-25 basketball season came to a close on Wednesday night with a 61-59 loss to North Texas in the NIT Tournament quarterfinals.

The Cowboys were eliminated in the first round of the Big 12 Tournament but had a bit of a resurgence with wins over Wichita State and SMU in the NIT, so they ended things on a high note.

Still, in the world of NIL, it’s nearly impossible to retain everyone from a given season, and that won’t be the case for Oklahoma State in 2025-26.

On Thursday, multiple reports confirmed that forward Connor Dow will enter the transfer portal and will have two years of eligibility remaining.

Dow was a sophomore this past season and played in 24 games for the Cowboys, averaging 1.8 points and 1.4 rebounds per contest. Over the past two seasons, Dow started eight games and appeared in 51 games total.

A 6-foot-6 product out of Broken Arrow High School, Dow was the No. 3 player in the state of Oklahoma and a three-star signee in OSU’s 2023 signing class–the final class to sign under former head coach Mike Boynton.

Dow’s best game as a Cowboy came in the Big 12 Tournament loss to Cincinnati, when he scored a career-high 12 points while shooting 4-for-5 from three.
