The 2025 NFL Draft is quickly approaching, with April 24 just two weeks away and Lambeau Field already starting to prepare for hosting the league’s second biggest annual event.

The possibilities and the unknowns are what make the draft such an intriguing part of professional sports every season, and there aren’t any drafts that get more publicity or hype than the NFL.

The Big 12 has three or four player who are expecting to hear their names called on the first night, and three of them have a better chance than not of coming off the board in the first 10 picks.

However, one of the more recent mock drafts from CBS Sports has one of them falling into the back half of the round.

CBS Sports’ Josh Edwards released his latest mock draft on Thursday and has Colorado quarterback Shedeur Sanders falling all the way to the Pittsburgh Steelers at pick No. 21.

“Shedeur Sanders does not carry a first-round grade for me but he is a top-20 prospect at a premier position,” Edwards writes. “Pittsburgh addresses a need while also getting good value in return. He will presumably be the heir apparent to Aaron Rodgers.”

Sanders is in the discussion to go with the No. 1 pick to Tennessee, although most feel that the Titans are going to go with Miami quarterback Cam Ward.

Edwards has Colorado WR/CB Travis Hunter going to Cleveland with the No. 2 overall pick, and Arizona WR Tetairoa McMillan going to the New Orleans Saints with Pick No. 9.
