In a decision that many Big 12 fans have tuned in for, Houston guard Milos Uzan has officially declared for the 2025 NBA Draft.

Uzan got his start at Oklahoma, where he stayed two seasons before transferring to Houston.

In two seasons with the Sooners, Uzan’s best year came in 2023-24, where he averaged nine points, 4.4 assists, and 3.4 rebounds per game. Uzan did not make the NCAA Tournament once in two seasons in Norman.

After two statistically impressive seasons paired with not much winning, Uzan elected to go to one of the most successful programs in the nation, Houston. Paired with legendary head coach Kelvin Sampson, Uzan flourished with a career year.

The Nevada native averaged 11.4 points, 4.3 assists, and 3.1 rebounds per game. He also connected on 45.3% of shots from the field, 42.8% of shots from three, and 78.3% of shots from the free-throw line.

ESPN’s Jonathan Givony was the first to break the news, saying, “Milos Uzan, a breakout star of the postseason with the Houston Cougars, will declare for the 2025 NBA draft, agent Aman Dhesi told ESPN.”

The NBA Combine will be held May 11-18 in Chicago, and the NBA Draft will be June 25-26 in New York.
