As the 2024-25 regular season begins to wind down, unfortunately, injuries continue to ramp up.
One program feeling the effects of the 20-game schedule is the Baylor Bears, who could be without senior guard Jayden Nunn in Tuesday’s game vs. Cincinnati.
Nunn has been a key contributor for Scott Drew’s squad this year, averaging 9.1 points, 2.9 rebounds, and 1.6 assists per game. He missed Baylor’s last game, a 76-74 loss to the Colorado Buffaloes, and is looking to avoid missing a second-straight game.
He is one of many Bears to miss time in the 2024-25 season, as the group has been one of the teams most hurt by the injury bug. Nunn is joined by VJ Edgecombe, Jeremy Roach, Langston Love, and Josh Ojianwuna, who have all missed multiple games this year.
According to CBS Sports’ Jon Rothstein, Nunn is listed as a game-time decision vs. the Bearcats with an illness.
Baylor enters the game as a 1.5-point underdog after losing three of their last four games. Tuesday’s game between Baylor and Cincinnati is set to tip off at 6:00 p.m. central on the road at Fifth-Third Arena.
